Case Study
Resonance Tunes
Conscious Tech, Grounded Design
Designing and building the business website for an ethical-AI wellness platform from scratch.
The context
Resonance Tunes is an ethical-AI and consciousness technology startup combining somatic science, archetypal psychology, and regenerative systems design. The platform targets two distinct audiences, individuals seeking nervous system regulation and organisations pursuing DEI-integrated wellness, each with different entry points and different levels of familiarity with the concepts. As Product & Technology Innovation Lead within a C-level team, I owned the information architecture, UX/UI design, and full Webflow build. Copy and brand messaging were provided by the founding team.
The design challenge
Consciousness technology is a hard sell visually. Lean too far into tech aesthetics and you lose the somatic, human-centred audience. Lean too far into wellness and you lose credibility with organisational buyers and investors. The site needed to hold both, grounding complex ideas in clean visual hierarchy while signalling that this is a serious platform, not a mood board.
The information architecture had to serve three jobs simultaneously: explain what Resonance Tunes is (brand storytelling), show what it does (product clarity for individuals and groups), and establish legitimacy (testimonials, team, and market positioning), all without overwhelming a first-time visitor who may have no reference point for "ethical-AI consciousness technology."
The approach
I started with the messaging hierarchy: what does someone need to understand in what order? The homepage opens with the mission, moves to the three market problems the platform addresses (each grounded with a specific statistic), then breaks into audience-specific value propositions before social proof and a blog section. The structure is intentionally conventional, familiar patterns doing the heavy lifting so the unfamiliar content can breathe.
The visual direction balances nature imagery with geometric elements and a calming colour palette that reads as both tech-forward and human-centred. Typography and spacing do most of the work: generous whitespace gives dense concepts room, and clear section breaks prevent the cognitive overload that concept-heavy sites tend to create.
The dual-audience problem was solved with distinct content blocks, "For Individuals" and "For Groups," each with their own language register and CTAs, so neither audience has to wade through content meant for the other.
The build
The site was built entirely in Webflow, with responsive layouts, CMS-driven blog content, and interaction design that reinforces the brand's emphasis on coherence and flow. The build prioritised clean, maintainable structure over visual complexity, important for an early-stage venture where the site will evolve as the product matures.
Scope of ownership
This was a zero-to-one build within a founding team. Working alongside the CEO and C-level leadership, I translated the company's vision into a structured digital experience: information architecture, visual design system, page design across all sections, and a production Webflow build, giving an early-stage venture the credibility to open conversations with practitioners, organisations, and investors.
